Wild Thyme Larks had a fantastical Spring! We kicked off the season at SpringFest Benicia on St. Paddy's weekend with our dear friends Blame the Whiskey. It was a gorgeous day at Benicia's City Park full of Celtic music, tasty food, and wonderful vendors. Since the first time I saw it, I've wanted to play at their sweet little gazebo, so it was delightful to fulfill that dream!

Tracks from our new album Larks Live! were featured in the play Happy Birthday, Mr. Shakespeare written and directed by the talented Matt & Lauren Coats at The Acting Company Theater. We enjoyed a great night out at the theater celebrating the Bard. I can't describe how wonderful it was to sit in the front row and listen to our music fill the theater! Meeting new fans who had heard but never seen us was also quite a trip!

For May Day weekend the beautifully gifted I. K. Bonita hosted a wreath-making workshop for the Larks. We utterly destroyed my house while creating gorgeous new creations. All the ladies were incredibly jealous of the fabulous red wreath that Amie made for Chris! It's not fair how gorgeous our very own silver fox looks in it! We closed the weekend with a fantastic photo shoot in our overgrown garden playing with our fantasy and fairy looks. Our littlest Lark, ZuZu, stole the show (and my fox ears)!

Our fantasy adventures kicked off at the Bard's Ball with a trio of Larks joining Shakespeare as Titania, Oberon, and Puck. One enterprising fairy captured the evening with delightful hand-drawn pictures of us! We've never looked quite so adorable!

The Edge of Spring Fantasy Fair in Auburn was marvelous! The weather was a bit warm for spring in the foothills but the event had everything we could want - epic music, delicious specialty drinks, fantastic food, wonderful wares, and thrilling surprises. We debuted a new song, I took my new floral frill fairy wings for a spin, and we launched our new barrel flash drive necklaces with our new album! That's right! We released our new album Larks Live!

But wait! There's more! We wrapped up our Spring season at Shasta Renaissance & Fantasy Faire in Anderson. It was so much fun to see our friends Story Wrens and One Eyed Reilly in the audience, enjoy their fantastic shows, and make new friends like WizWorld Live and Jester Jeff!

Our Saturday main stage show took an unexpected twist when I swallowed a bee mid-show! Yes, you heard correctly. There was a bee. In my mouth. During a show. Yes, she stung me. In my mouth. Yes, in my mouth. Yes, I spit her out and kept playing. Yes, I am metal. But you already knew that!

You can check out our Spring Shenanigans video showcasing highlights from the season. You can find us next at the Central Coast Renaissance Faire. Until then we're working on even more new music that we can't wait to share with you!
